You read it right, I hear dead people. I feel them and I see them too. It’s been this way for me for a long time. I just am now realizing that I need to let people know about this. I can’t stuff it down any longer. Let’s call this my “Coming Out Party”. I may not be gay but, I sure feel like I’ve been in the closet for the past 20 years.
Lately, I’ve been encouraging it. I know it may freak some people out but, I’m enjoying it now. You’d be surprised how funny your Great Aunt Myra can be! I’ll give you a little tidbit…
Over a year ago now my high school best friend’s brother died. In a meditation, I asked him to come in. At the very end of that meditation, he showed up. Off in the distance, he gave me a nod that let me know that he’d be in touch. Two weeks later, there he was in my kitchen tapping me on the shoulder, “Call my sister.” I giggled because this was clearly Jimmy! A couple days later, after not calling her, he did it again. Tap tap tap on my shoulder, “Call my sister.” I called his sister! She came over that week and we drank coffee and chatted with Jimmy in my kitchen. Two weeks later, he did it again! Tap tap tap, “Call my sister.” This went on for months. We were able to help him chat to two of his sisters, his mother, and finally his wife. He had a lot to say.
His message for me…. “You need to do this for other people too.” So here I am, telling other people what I do, hoping that he’s right, that I can help others too.
That’s it folks, I’m out of the closet! 📷
