About the Event
The Art of Henna Design is a beginner class, involving the basic shapes, and designs of Henna Art. This 2-3-hour workshop will include a brief history of Henna. The origins of how it's used in other countries. The practice of the basic shapes used in Henna designs. Learn how we put them together to form beautiful art pieces. I will also go over the different styles of Henna. We will end the workshop with practice on each other, as well as me arting you all up. I will provide everything you need for this workshop. Bring yourself, and an open creative mind.
Henna is a beautiful tradition, done in many blessed events. I love doing henna on people as a healing, loving, exchange of energy. I strive to empower others with everything I do. This will be a beautiful night of learning something new, as well as an exchange of a sacred connection of love.
Holly has been doing henna for 12 years. She started at an India Restaurant while taking a break from dancing on the weekends. She's been an artist her whole life, using different mediums to express love, connection, and emotion.
