Reving Up ~ A Journal Writing Workshop

Putting pen to paper helps you connect with your inner self.  It allows you to release any worry, anger, & chaos that may be in your life.  It also is a great way to find your joy, your self-worth, & your gratitude for all life has to offer.

In this 2-hour workshop, we will begin with a peaceful, guided meditation.  After we will sit and "free write".  (Free writing is simply writing whatever comes to mind after the meditation. There is no editing.  There are no mistakes and no self-judgment.)  You are welcome to share your writing with everyone if you choose.  We will continue to write throughout the evening.  Some writing prompts may be used to help the flow. Kim will gift you your own journal for class and your continued writing practice.

Hi.  My name is Kim, 

By putting pen to paper and "vomiting" all my feelings on the page, I have been able to see more clearly where my life could lead and to truly understand life after 50 will be ok.  At the time I was reading a book, "Running with Raven."  It was about a man who has run 8 miles every day since 1973!  He has not missed one day.  So that inspired me and I decided that I'd fly to Miami and run the 8 miles with him on my birthday.  And the saying, "REVIN UP to a new me" was my mantra as I trained for that run.  Now I want to share REVIN UP with everyone...REVIN UP to be the best version of YOU!
